A network that became an organization.
DC ATRC grew out of a long-standing collaboration among substance use disorder providers in Washington, DC. More than ten years ago, a small group began meeting informally to discuss shared challenges and improve services for people seeking recovery. About a year ago the group formalized as a DC registered nonprofit with a board of 11 community providers.
